Wedi Tilebacker

 

The most important feature of wedi Tilebacker is its performance in wet conditions. Use it for showers or water features with total confidence - even when completely immersed for a month, it takes only half a per cent of water. Tiles stay attached to Tilebacker, other substrates can be costly when defective areas have to be replaced. Add to that possible legal action for the consequences of water intrusion or delamination.

 

The board is a highly efficient as a thermal insulator and vapour barrier. It is lightweight, easy to cut and dimensionally stable. It is supplied in a variety of thicknesses, and makes it easy to cover services such as cables and pipes, and allow for outlets. 

When used to level uneven walls, it delivers the finished job much faster than rendering or plastering. There is minimum dust even when drilling.

 

wedi Tilebacker has a blue Styrofoam™ core. Both sides are coated with a polymer-modified cement coating and reinforced with glass fibre.
